Lighthouse, Egmond aan Zee

Location: Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands

Arcluce supplied MOTO floodlights for the historic J.C.J. van Speijk lighthouse lighting in the Netherlands. Built in 1834, the lighthouse is dedicated to Capitan Jan Van Speijk, a national hero who sacrificed himself and his boat to avoid falling into the hands of the Belgian revolutionaries in 1831. Today it is an important tourist attraction for the Dutch town.

MOTO floodlights have been installed to illuminate the building and, thanks to an high power, ultra-wide beam of 4.000K color temperature, the light house is illuminated from top to bottom, enhancing its statement and making it the star attraction of this coast stretch.
