Relais La Corte dei Papi, Cortona

Location: Cortona, Italy

Client: Papi Family

Arcluce supplied the devices that illuminate the exteriors of Relais La Corte dei Papi, a historic family estate dating back to the 18th century, located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

The property, owned by the Papi family, has been recently refurbished and converted into an exclusive hotel, retaining the original elements of the ancient structure.

The lighting project focused on the valorization of the neoclassical elements that decorate the external façade. To this purpose, Arcluce provided small and elegantly designed devices that blend in harmoniously with the surrounding environment.

INGROUND 25, the smallest size of Arcluce recessed floor fittings family, illuminate the entrances. Through reflectors that have been entirely designed and built by our engineers, these devices project a narrow and well defined beam of light on the walls that convey class and elegance to the entire structure and enhance its architectural elements.

INGROUND55 were used for the two large lateral arches, while TULA with mono and dual emission were installed along columns and walls. Finally, a TITO floodlight illuminates the statue in the garden.
